As I'm sitting here beginning to type this...the small pep band just finished playing "Hey Baby" and I had a flashback of my high school color guard days when we'd stand up and sing the song really loudly during pre-game of the basketball games. I almost sang it....then I realized that I might get some funny looks...not to mention the fact that I barely have a voice this week, anyway. So, I'll stick to just writing about it.
Sioux City, Iowa is one happening place today. The staff here has arranged for our team to have this great set up in the upper concourse of the arena. We have a table set up for editing and switching...a whole area for our Wildcat Week set-complete with a view of the court just below us....and the food tents nearby (seriously...I have 2 guys with me this week, I have to think about these things). We're at halftime of the Cornerstone/William Jewell game and our girls just came out to warmup on the court before they play in just an hour. I took a picture to show you the view.

We caught Coach Brooks sneaking his breakfast this morning as the girls were nearby practicing. When Ryan mentioned that he was grabbing his breakfast, too, Coach grabbed an extra muffin. Keeping us on our toes already. Also please note that when aquiring our press credentials this morning...we realized that they didn't have our names...they had the names for the team from Missouri. So, for today, I'm Roger Alcock. Well I'm going to close this short and sweet message out so we can set up for the rest of our exciting day, but I wanted to end on this random fact from Iowa: The WIWU-TV crew here matches today. Seriously....we match.
Now thats what I call dedication!
